5 A Day - One glass of freshly squeezed OJ is the equivalent to 1 of your recommended 5 a day fruit and vegetable portions.

Vitamin C - needed for healthy skin, bones, teeth, gums and blood. Aids resistance to infection and iron absorption. Vitamin C is necessary for healing the body from ordinary cuts to infections, such as the common cold.

Folic Acid - vitamin B reduces risk of spina bifida during pregnancy, also helps reduce risk of heart disease.  

Potassium - helps regulate blood pressure, heartbeat, nerve and muscle functions. Diets containing foods that are good sources of potassium and low in sodium may reduce the risk of high blood pressure and stroke.

Fresh - The vitamins and minerals from freshly squeezed juices are absorbed as quickly as 15 minutes within the body but whole fruit can take up to 6 hours, in which time a considerable proportion is by-passed as waste.

Fat Free - Freshly squeezed orange juice is virtually fat free and contains no added sugar, salt or additives, unlike most shop bought orange juice.

Vitamin C Content - from a squeezed orange disappears at a rapid rate, 50% is gone after just 10 minutes and 80% has gone after 20 minutes.

Say NO to Bottled Juices - to legally bottle any drink you must pasteurise the content, this process kills all enzymes and vitamins, therefore making the whole process pointless!
